Ranked as one of the most beautiful illuminations in France, the Montbéliard Lights are known and appreciated far beyond its borders. The Christmas market takes place every year from the last weekend in November around the Temple St Martin, and lasts for a month. It's an authentic market that showcases the skills of craftsmen and craftswomen, and promotes handmade products rather than industrial ones. Each year, a different region of France is highlighted, with its crafts, traditions and culture, and a whole programme is organised to help as many people as possible discover our heritage. Although the Montbéliard market is not as well known as the Christmas markets in Alsace, its charm and assets are enough to attract nearly 600,000 visitors every year.

Built in 1601 under the direction of the Württemberg architect Heinrich Schickhardt, the Temple Saint-Martin symbolises the particularity of Montbéliard: French-speaking Lutheranism. The town was in fact governed for more than four centuries by a German dynasty: the Wurtemberg family.
From April to September, the Montbéliard marina welcomes boaters who would like to stop over there, but it is also a pleasant place to stroll, right next to the Près-la-Rose and the Ile en Mouvement . It is also located on the Eurovéloroute 6, a cycle route connecting Basel to Nevers.
L'Île en Mouvement is a landscaped park dedicated to walking and biodiversity. It delights young and old alike with its relaxation areas and children's games.
Located in the heart of Montbéliard, the Pré la Rose is the city's green lung, covering 10 hectares. A pathway leads around the park and there are discovery and leisure areas for young and old alike: a playground, a labyrinth, a sundial, Galileo's fountain, an archipelago ship, etc. The park also hosts a Science Pavilion: a place that offers permanent and temporary exhibitions on various scientific subjects.
Created in 2005, L’Axone is an auditorium located on the heights of the city. It can accommodate up to 6000 spectators. It is regularly the scene of concerts or important shows. It also hosts various fairs and other events.
Since 1931, the Stade Bonal has been the most popular sports venue in Montbéliard. Moreover, his fame goes beyond our regional borders thanks to FC Sochaux! With a capacity of over 20,000 seats, it regularly hosts major football matches.
Created in 1988, the Peugeot Adventure Museum traces the history of the Peugeot brand from its beginnings to the present day. Come and discover the exceptional cars that have made the brand famous. Discover also the other less known products of the Peugeot brand: electric mill, pepper mill, seed mill, coffee mill...
Our hotel is located 15 minutes from one of the best golf courses. Founded in 1929 by Jean-Pierre Peugeot, the Prunevelle Golf Course is accessible to all. The only difficulty of the course is its length and the complexity of its greens.
Do you like hiking? Only a few kilometres from the hotel, we recommend the Forts hike which will take you on a journey through history. Passing by the Fort Lachaux Farm, you will discover beautiful panoramas on the Ballon d'Alsace and the Castle of Montbéliard.
France's favourite monument in 2020 : The Lion of Belfort is a commemorative monument in high relief located in Belfort, France, at the foot of the citadel cliff. The work of Alsatian sculptor Auguste Bartholdi, it commemorates the town's resistance to the Prussian siege during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870.
