Located in the heart of the historical center, on the the Heinrich Schickhardt path (German town planner architect who built the oldest Lutheran french temple in Montbéliard), La Balance hôtel welcomes you for a night, a week-end or more in one of it’s 45 rooms (single, double or family) including 2 specially ment for disabled people. An elevator serves the 3 floors of the hotel.

Our hotel has preserved its charm of yesteryear. With its period staircase, antique chandeliers, wood panelling and a fireplace in some rooms, history lovers will be delighted !

For a moment of relaxation after a busy day, you can rest in the cosy atmosphere of the veranda of our lounge-bar.

Our rooms, with a view on the courtyard or on the street, are all equipped with reversible heating for your comfort (air conditioning in summer and heating in the winter).

    This room includes a free Wi-Fi connection and a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub. It is equipped with a 160cm bed or 2 beds of 110cm, and a flat screen TV. It is equipped with a reversible heating system offering air conditioning in high temperatures. Each room is unique and different, therefore, they are all furnished and decorated differently. Their larger size allows them to accommodate up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), upon request.

    DOUBLE ROOM WITH THEME

    This room category includes a free Wi-Fi connection and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower or a bathtub. It is equipped with a bed of 140 to 180cm or 2 beds of 110cm, and a flat screen TV. It is equipped with a reversible heating system offering air conditioning in high temperatures. Four rooms make up this category, each paying tribute to four emblematic figures who have stayed at the hotel or played an important role in the city of Montbéliard: the PEUGEOT Family, TCHAIKOVSKI, Marshal DE LATTRE DE TASSIGNY, and the DUCS DE WURTEMBERG. Each room is unique and different, therefore, they are all furnished and decorated differently. It is possible to indicate a preference at the time of the reservation, we will do our best to respect your wish, according to our availabilities. Their larger size allows them to accommodate up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), upon request.

    This single room includes free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub. It is equipped with a 120cm bed and a flat screen TV. It is also equipped with a reversible heating system, offering air conditioning in high temperatures. Each room is unique and different, therefore, they are all furnished and decorated differently.

  • CHAMBRE CLASSIQUE

    Cette chambre pouvant accueillir une ou deux personnes comprend une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite ainsi qu'une salle de bains privative avec une douche ou une baignoire. Elle est équipée d’un lit en 140 cm, d’un téléviseur écran plat. Elle est également dotée d’un système de chauffage réversible, offrant l’air conditionné lors de températures élevées. Chaque chambre de la catégorie "classique" est unique et différente. Par conséquent, elles sont toutes aménagées et décorées différemment.

A gentle awakening over a gourmet breakfast

For breakfast, we welcome you in the central room of the building, a magnificent ancient room, with mouldings and vintage chandeliers.

Our extensive buffet is prepared each day to awaken your taste buds and get your day off to a good start.

Breakfast is served from 6.30am to 10am on weekdays and from 6.30 am to 10.30 am on weekends and public holidays.

The price of breakfast is €12 per person (€7.50 for children up to 12 years old).
